O clavecitério ou clavicitério (do Latim clavicytherium) é um instrumento musical de cordas tangidas e teclado, semelhante ao cravo, porém cuja caixa de ressonância é vertical. Portanto se trata de de um cravo vertical. Por ocupar menos espaço horizontal, o clavecitério era muito difundido nos séculos XVII e XVIII.[1]
