Altera Corporation é uma empresa fabricante de dispositivos lógicos programáveis. Foi fundada em 1983[1], comprada pela Intel Corporation em 2015[2] e tornou-se independente novamente em 2025.[3] Seus principais produtos são as FPGAs Agilex [en], Stratix [en], Arria e Cyclone e o software Quartus Prime [en].[4][5]

O hardware da Altera é programado em VHDL, Verilog ou, ainda, em uma linguagem própria AHDL [en].[6]
