Yazoo
Yazoo es un duò anglés eissit del movement new wave, del sosgenre synthpop. Yazoo es estat format a Basildon (Anglatèrra) en abril de 1982 per Vince Clarke, qu'es de'n primièr estat l'un dels sòcis fondators del grop Depeche Mode, ambe la cantaira (d'origina francesa per son paire) Alison Moyet, una jova punk a la votz prigonda.
Alison Moyet e Vince Clarke se son encontrats en 1981 dins un estanquet. Alison Moyet jogava ambe son grop mentre qu'a n'aquel moment, Vince Clarke ja s'alunhava de Depeche Mode. Lo duò se fòrma oficialament a la debuta de l'annada 1982. Obtenon lèu un primièr gròs succès al Reialme Unit ambe la cançon Only You. Demest los autres títols mai coneguts de Yazoo, se pòt citar tanben Situation (quitament sortit dins las annadas 1980, qu'es estat tornarmai un tube en 1991), e sustot Don't go (fin 1982), qu'es probablament lor títol mai conegut.
