Victor Ier
Victor Ièr (nascùt en Tunisia, mòrt en 199) foguèt, segon la tradicion catolica, lo 14en evesque de Roma de 189 a 199. Succediguèt a Eleutèri (175-189) e foguèt remplaçat per Zefirin (199-217).
Son pontificat foguèt lo premier marcat per lo volontat de l'evesque de Roma d'impausar sa direccion morala ais autrei glèisas crestianas. Aguèt un ròtle important sus l'organizacion de la Glèisa en favorisant lo clergat d'origina romana en plaça dau clergat grèc e tanben en favorisant l'utilizacion dau latin. Capitèt tanben d'organizar unei sinòdis e d'estendre la celebracion dei Pascas un dimènge au sen dei glèisas occidentalas. Enfin, contunièt la lucha còntra lei movements eretics orientaus, especialament lei corrents gnostics.
