The Cranberries es un grop de rock irlandés que se formèt a Limerick en 1989. Lo grop consistís en la cantaira Dolores O'Riordan, lo guitarist Noel Hogan, lo bassist Mike Hogan e lo bateire Fergal Lawler. Sempre associat al rock alternatiu, lo grop incorpora tanben a sa musica de sonoritats indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk e pop rock.[1]

Lo grop obtenguèt una fama internacionala dins las annadas 1990 amb son primièr album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? e lo dusau, No need to argue amb la cançon Zombie, que venguèron una capitada comerciala. The Cranberries foguèt un dels grop de rock pus famós dels ans 90 e vendèt mai de 40 milion d'albums dins lo mond entièr.

La cantaira Dolores O'Riordan es mòrta a Londres a 46 ans lo 15 de genièr de 2018. [2]
