Lo Talmud (תלמוד en ebrieu) es un escrich d'importància e d'autoritat del Judaïsme, que conten de discussions rabinicas sus la lei jusieva, l'etica jusieva, las tradicions, las legendas... Es una font fondamentala de la legislacion, de las tradicions e de las exortacions moralas. A dos components: la Mišnah e la Gemara (una discussion de la Mišnah), mas los tèrmes Talmud e Gemara son usats de manièra intercambiabla. Lo Talmud espandís los escriches de la Torah, e es la basa de la màger part de la literatura rabinica. Lo Judaïsme considèra lo Talmud coma una partida de la tradicion orala e lo Tanaḥ una partida de la tradicion escricha. Lo Talmud pòt completar e explicar lo Tanaḥ mas, per definicion, lo pòt pas contradire.
