Simplici (mòrt lo 10 de març de 483) foguèt lo 47en papa de la Glèisa Catolica Romana dau 3 de març de 468 a sa mòrt. Succediguèt a Alari (461-468) e foguèt remplaçat per Felitz III (483-492).
Son pontificat foguèt marcat per la disparicion de l'Empèri Roman d'Occident en 476. Maugrat aquel eveniment, Simplici capitèt de protegir la Glèisa d'Occident e son autoritat. Luchèt tanben còntra lo monofisisme e l'arianisme.
