Riu

Bonjon dins lo Puèi de Doma.

Un riu[1] (var. dialectalas rieu, arriu, arrieu),[2] un rèc,[3] o encara una sòrga, es un pichon corrent d'aiga alimentat per una font naturala, pauc prigond e de debit moderat, que se pòt getar dins un autre riu, un estanh, un lac o una ribièra. Se pòt agotar l'estiu en cas de secada especialament en zòna de clima mediterranèu.
