Rigel
Rigel ò Beta Orionis (β Orionis / β Ori) es una estèla supergiganta blava situada a 863 ans lutz de la Tèrra dins la constellacion d'Orion. Es la seisena estèla pus lusenta dau cèu nuechenc. De tipe espectrau B, es una estèla fòrça importanta amb una massa estimada a 17 massas solaras e una luminositat superiora a 40 000 còps aquela dau Soleu. Coma mai d'una autra supergiganta, presenta una leugiera variabilitat irregulara. Es tanben lo centre d'un sistèma triple format ambé doas autreis estèlas de tipe B.
