Queen foguèt un grop de rock britanic, originari de Londres, en Anglatèrra. Se formèt en 1970 amb Freddie Mercury, Brian May e Roger Taylor, aquestes dos venent del grop Smile. L’an seguent, lo bassista John Deacon venguèt completar la formacion.
De per son succès e a son influéncia, Queen es considerat coma un dels grop britanic màger de l'istòria. La formacion vendèt mai de 300 milions d'albums a l'escala internacionala en 2009, dont 32,5 milions als Estats Units[3]. Entre las cançons del grop qu'aguèron mai de succès comercial e popular, podem citar "We Are the Champions", "We Will Rock You", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Another one Bites the Dust", "I Want to Break Free", "A Kind of Magic", "Radio Ga Ga" e "The Show Must Go On".
Aprés la mòrt de Freddie Mercury en 1991, John Deacon anoncièt sa retirada de la musica en 1997, mentre que Roger Taylor e Brian May se jonhèron a Paul Rodgers per formar lo projècte Queen + Paul Rodgers, amb lo qual enregistrèron son setzen disc, que foguèt publicat en 2008 sense gaire succès.
