Protectorat
Un protectorat èra un regime politic dau periòde coloniau. Èra caracterizat per lo mantenement deis institucions de l'estat protegit e d'una autonòmia locala mai ò mens importanta sus leis afaires intèrnes. De son caire, la poissança protectritz èra en carga deis afaires estrangiers, dau comèrci exterior e de la defensa. Durant la Segonda Guèrra Mondiala (1937-1945), lo tèrme designa leis estats mai ò mens fictius creats per lei país de l'Aisse (Manchokuò, França de Vichy...) per dirigir certanei territòris ocupats. Uei, lo tèrme designa generalament d'un biais pejoratiu un estat somés a la politica estrangiera d'una autra poissança.
