Praira
La praira o lo prèire (dich precisament prèire doble), Venus verrucosa, es una espècia de Cardiidae d'aiga salada. Es comestible e fòrça apreciada. La cal pas confondre amb la Chamelea gallina, son tan semblablas qu'en francés aquesta e aquela son nomenadas respectivament praire e fausse praire.
Distribucion
Se tròba a las còstas d'Euròpa e tanben de Sudafrica, dempuèi lo litoral de Namibia a Moçambic dempuèi la zòna de marea a 155 m de prigondor.[1]
