Lo Portugal continental designa lo territòri continental portugués, situat dins Peninsula Iberica.

La designacion es utilizada per diferenciar lo territòri continental de las archipèlas atlanticas dels Açòres e de Madèira.

Es la 85a subdivision d'un país mai poblada del mond.

Lo Portugal continental comprend 278 dels 308 concelhs, 89 015 km² dels 92 145 km² del territóri nacional (96,6%), e 10 144 940 del 10 637 713 abitantes qu'i abitan (segon lo cens de 2011[1]), siá, 95,1%.
