Participi

En gramatica, lo participi es un mòde del vèrb que li dona las caracteristicas d'un adjectiu. Atal, « participa » a l’encòp d'una natura verbala e d'una natura de qualificatiu.

Dins las lengas flexionalas, se conjuga pas mas pòt se declinar coma un adjectiu, tant mai quand acompanha un nom, amb que pòt s'acordar.

En occitan, lo participi passat s'acòrda en genre e en nombre (per exemple cantat, -s ; cantada, -s) mas pas lo participi present (cantant). Lo participi present ten un ròtle verbal mas es pas adjectivat, puslèu s’utiliza una subordonada

Dins d’autras lengas, Coma lo latin, existís los participis passat e present mas tanben un participi futur: per exemple, morituri, "aquestes que van morir", es lo nominatiu masculin plural del participi futur del vèrb latin morire, « morir ».

Mai, son eritatge verbal li permet de recebre de complements e de marcas temporalas.

Es utilizat coma segond element donant lo sens lexical dins un temps compausat e a la votz passiva, amb un auxiliar (soi anat, he ido, I have gone...). En occitan, l’ensems en + participi present dona lo gerondiu.

I a de participis irregulars mas la majoritat se forman a partir de la raiç de l'infinitiu que s’aplica una terminason especifica segon la lenga.
