PDF

Lo Portable Document Format (lit. 'Format de Document Portatil'; sigla: PDF) es un format de fichièr per gardar de documents en un ordinator. Adobe lo creèc en 1993 per facilitar l'escambi de documents.[1] PDF s'usa amb frequéncia per far de documents escarrabilhats per estampar. Los documents PDF pòdon d'aver tèxt estilizat e imatges en eles.

Lo document s'emmagazina de tala forma que lo contengut càmbia pas la forma en que se vei en desparièrs ecrans, ordinators e estampadoiras, coma pòt succedir amb d'autres formats de fichièrs.[2]

PDF es un estandard dobèrt que foguèt publicat oficialament lo 1 de julhet de 2008 per l'ISO.[3]

Se requerís un logiciau lector de PDF per liéger de documents PDF.[4] Qualques exemples son Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, Okular e Foxit Reader.
