L'orowe (en orowe: 'ôrôwê) es una lenga oceaniana parlada a Nòva Caledònia.

Localizacion

L'orowe es es parlat dins los vilatges canacs de Pothé, Azareu, Ny e Bouirou, situats dins la comuna de Bourail sus la còsta oèst de Nòva Caledònia. La lenga es menaçada, que la màger part dels joves la parlan pas e l'an remplaçada per lo francés[1].

Classificacion

L'orowe es una lenga caledoniana, un grop de las lengas oceanianas del sud restacat a las lengas oceanianas. Aquestas fan partida de la branca malaiopolinesiana de la familha austronesiana[2].
