L'Operacion Ten-Go foguèt la darriera operacion importanta menada per la marina militara japonesa dins lo corrent de la Segonda Guèrra Mondiala. Èra una mission suicidi dirigida per lo cuirassat gigant Yamato e una escòrta de nòu naviris còntra un grop de pòrta-avions estatsunidencs que se debanèt lo 7 d'abriu de 1945. L'ataca mau capitèt totalament car lei naviris foguèron descubèrts e bombardats per l'aviacion avans d'èsser a portada de tir de la flòta estatsunidenca. Lo Yamato e cinc autrei naviris foguèron destruchs entraïnant la mòrt de 3 700 marins. L'aviacion estatsunidenca perdiguèt solament 10 avions e 12 pilòtas.
