Nikodem Caro (23 de mai de 1871, Lodz - 27 de junh de 1935, Roma) es un quimista e un industriau germano-polonés. Es famós per sei trabalhs sus lo desvolopament dau procès Frank-Caro.

Estudièt la quimia a Berlin e a Rostock avans de trabalhar per la companhiá Deutsche Dynamit AG. I participèt ambé Adolph Frank (1834-1916) a la mesa au ponch d'un procès industriau permetent d'utilizar l'azòt atmosferic per produrre un engrais azotat artificiau. Dich procès Frank-Caro, aqueu metòde aguèt un efiech major sus la produccion agricòla.

Participèt a l'industrializacion de son procès e foguèt un concurent important de Fritz Haber (1868-1934) qu'èra a assaiar de desvolopar lo sieu procès de produccion d'engrais azotats. Durant la Premiera Guèrra Mondiala (1914-1918), estudièt la concepcion de gas de combat per l'armada alemanda. Enfin, quitèt son país après l'arribada dau poder d'Adolf Hitler e s'enfugiguèt en Itàlia onte moriguèt.
