NASDAQ, acronim en anglés de National Association of Securities Dealer Automated Quotation, es lo principal mercat electronic d'accions dels Estats Units d'America. Foguèt fondat per la National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) en 1971. Amb las vendas dels ans 2000 e 2001 demorèt privatizat. Es governat per la companhiá proprietària, la Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc., qu'es sus la lista dins son pròpri sistèma d'escambi d'accions en 2002.
Amb prèp de 3300 companhiás, NASDAQ representa la borsa de valors electronica e automatizada qu'escàmbia de mitat mai d'accions per jorn que tot autre mercat del monde. Se caracteriza per comprendre d'empresas d'auta tecnologia en electronica, informatica, telecomunicacions, biotecnologia, eca. Una altra de sas caracteristicas es l'usatge del sistèma SOES (Small Order Execution System), un sistèma de gestion de pichons volums d'accions creat aprèp la crisi de 1987; aquel an sentiguèron la necessitat de crear de sistèmas per automatizar la gestion de grand nombre de transaccions de pichon volum.
Sos indici mai representatius son lo Nasdaq 100 (introdusit en 1985), lo Nasdaq Composite e lo NASDAQ Biotechnology Index.
