Son considerats coma precursors d'aqueste estili, los equivalents en França de los de la scèna americana (The Stooges) e anglesa (The Clash, Sex Pistols). D'aquesta passa, an fòrça influençat la scèna punk rock francesa dita alternativa de la fin de las annadas 80 coma se pòt ausir dins la musica de Bérurier Noir, Ludwig von 88 o encara dins los primièrs albums dels Garçons Bouchers. Sortida en 1977, la cançon la mai coneguda de Metal Urbain que se ditz Panik foguèt quitament represa pels Sales Majestés en 1997, tanben sus l'empont pels Bérurier Noir en 1989.
