La galaxia d'Andromèda (M 31, NGC 224, PGC 2557) es una galaxia espirala situada dins la constellacion d'Andromèda ai coordenadas 0h 42m 44,330s e +41° 16′ 07,50″2. Situada a 2,54 milions d'annadas lutz, es la galaxia pus importanta dau Grop Locau ambé la Via Lactèa. D'un diamètre d'aperaquí 140 000 annadas lutz, tèn un nombre d'estelas pus important que la galaxia nòstra mai una massa pus febla. A dos satellits principaus que son lei galaxias M 32 e M 110.

Depintada per lo premier còp en 1612 per l'astronòm alemand Simon Marius (1573-1624), èra probablament ja coneguda car son nuclèu se pòu observar a uelh nus.
