Lucian Duc (en francés Lucien Duc, Valàuria, 8 de setembre de 1849 – Avalon, 1915) foguèt un escrivan occitan de Daufinat.

Biografia

Lucian Duc obtenguèt son diplòma de l'Escòla Normala e venguèt regent dins Var quand aviá 21 ans. Durant la guèrra de 1870 s'engatgèt dins lei Mobils de Ròse au sèti de Belfort. Mai tard, a Draguinhan, fondèt sa primièra edicion poetica en francés: l'Echo des muses. En 1878, abandonèt l'ensenhament pr'amor de se consagrar a l'escritura e s'installèt coma estampaire-librari a Lion ont publiquèt seis òbras. Amb un grop literari, constituiguèt "l'Académie des Lettres, Sciences et Beaux-Arts de Province". Venguèt Mèstre en Gai Saber en 1891. Se n'anèt a París coma estampaire-librari e venguèt membre associat dau Felibritge de la capitala francesa. Venguèt mai tard redactor en cap de la revista felibrenca: "Lo Vira Solèu". Puèi, en 1903, foguèt elegit vicepresident e mai, en 1910, president dau Felibritge de París. Partiguèt de París en 1911, per gausir de la retirada en çò de son filh, en Provença. Pasmens en 1913, solet, veuse e de santat flaca, laissèt Provença e se n'anèt a racacòr viure amb son frairastre que demorava a Avalon. I foguèt enterrat en 1915.
