Lo lovono (o vano, vana, levono) es una lenga oceaniana parlada a las Illas Salamon.

Localizacion

Lo lovono èra parlat sus la còsta occidentala de l'illa de Vanikoro. Doas autras lengas aparentadas son presentas a Vanikoro, lo teanu e lo tanema, mas los locutors del lovono, coma aquels del tanema, son ara passats al teanu. Lo lovono èra remembrat en 2005 sonque per cinc personas que son pus de locutors actius[1].

Classificacion

Lo lovono es una de las lengas utupua-vanikoro. Ross e Næss (2007) an mostrat que forman, amb las lengas reef-santa cruz, las lengas temotu que son una de las brancas primàrias de las lengas oceanianas[2]. Aquestas fan partida de la branca malaiopolinesiana de la familha austronesiana[3].
