Lava
La lava (prononciat [ˈlaβo̞] -[βa] o [ˈlavo̞] -[va]; del latin: labes) es una ròca en fusion, mai o mens fluida, emesa per un volcan durant una erupcion. La lava es eissida d'un magma, resèrva de ròca en fusion situada dins l’espessor de las sisas rocassudas solidas de la planeta, sovent aquela resèrva es dita cambra magmatica.
Las lavas, quora son emesas, atenhon de temperaturas que segon sa composicion quimica varian de 700 à 1 200 °C. Se van solidificar lèu lèu per refrejament al contacte del sòl, de l’atmosfèra o de l'aiga, formant alavetz de ròcas volcanicas, coma los basalts o las riolitas.
