Kyo

Kyo es un grop de pop ròck francés d'Illa de França plan popular dempuèi 2002, fondat en 1994 per los fraires Fabien (batariá) e Florian Dubos (guitarra) ambe Nicolas Chassagne (guitarra) e Benoît Poher (cant). Lo nom del grop es inspirat de l'univèrs dels mangas e dels jòcs vidèos (Kyo Kusanagi). Fabien Dubos quita lo grop en 2019.

Biografia

Los sòcis de Kyo s'encontrèron al debut de las annadas 90 al collègi Notre-Dame « Les Oiseaux », collègi privat catolic situat a Verneuil-sur-Seine dins las Yvelines còsta París. Escotan a l'epòca grops contemporanèus de la scèna pop rock anglesa coma Radiohead o los de la scèna grunge americana, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam etc.

En 2000, Kyo sortís un primièr album, fòrça pop, que capita pas gaire.

En 2002, enregistran Le Chemin, una cançoneta pop rock en francés ambe la cantaira neerlandesa Sita (Sita Maria Vermeulen), que deven lor primièr tube en França pendent l'ivèrn de 2002-2003[1]. En seguida, aguèron un molon d'autras capitadas de las bèlas coma Dernière danse en 2003 (benlèu lor mai gròssa capitada)[2], Je cours, Je saigne encore, Contact, Le Graal etc, fasent d'eles l'un dels grops pop rock francés màgers del debut de las annadas 2000 còsta Indochine, Superbus e BB Brunes[3].
