Localizacion

Lo kosraés es parlat dins l'illa de Kosrae situada dins las Illas Carolinas. Unes locutors vivon a Kolonia, la capital de l'estat de Chuuk[1].

Classificacion

Lo kosraés es una de las lengas micronesianas, un grop de las lengas oceanianas. Aquestas fan partida de la branca malaiopolinesiana de la familha austronesiana[2].
