Juneteenth
Juneteenth, tanben sonat jorn de la libertat (Freedom Day) o jorn de l'emancipacion (Emancipation Day), es una fèsta dels Estats Units cada 19 de junh per remembrar l'anóncia de l'abolicion de l'esclavatge dins l'estat de Texas, en junh de 1865, e mai globalament l'emancipacion dels esclaus dins totes los estats confederats. Lo 17 de junh de 2021 es reconegut coma jorn de fèsta federal après la signatura de l'Acte del Jorn d'Indepéncia Nacional de Juneteenth (Juneteenth National Independence Day Act) pel president Joe Biden[1][2][3].
