James Francis Cagney Jr. (17 de julhet de 1899, Nòva York – 30 de març, Nòva York) es un actor e una vedeta dau cinèma estatsunidenc. Foguèt tanben realizator e productor. Venguèt famós gràcias a sei performàncias dins de ròtles de « dur » o de gangstèr coma dins lei films The Public Enemy (1931), White Heat (1949) e Love Me or Leave Me (1955). Pasmens, se limitava pas a aquela mena de ròtle e tornava tanben dins de comèdias o de films musicaus. Obtenguèt un Oscar en 1942 gràcias au film biografic Yankee Doodle Dandy.
