Frór es un personatge de l'univèrs de fantasia de l'escrivan J.R.R. Tolkien a la Tèrra Mejana. Es un nan de l'ostal dels barbalongas, segond filh del rei Dain I e qu'a coma ancessor dirècte lo pròpri Durin I. Es fraire de Thror e Gror e doncas familha dirècta de nans coma Thrain II, Thorin II Escutdegarric, Dain II Pedefèrre, Fili e Kili.

Fror nasquèt en l'an 2552 de la Tresena Edat e moriguèt en l'annada 2589 de la quita edat. Nasquèt al Reialme nan de las Montanhas Grisas e ailà demorèt pendent sa braca vida fins que l'an 2589 de la Tresena Edat lo nan e son paire, lo rei Dain I, foguèron aucits per un dragon de fred que veniá de Forodwaith. Los nans que poguèron subreviure aquel fach se devesiguèron en dos grops; d'unes segussián lo pepin del rei, Thror, e marchèron al Reialme d'Erebor. Los autres, la majoritat, se n'anèt amb lo filh pichon, Gror vèrs la Colina de Fèrre.
