Frontiera
Una frontièra (var.: frontièira, prov. lem. frontiera, auv. fronteira, gasc. frontè(i)ra o termièra) es un espaci d'espessor variable que marca la separacion entre dos territòris, especialament entre dos estats sobeirans. Segon las relacions entre aqueles territòris, lor foncion pòt variar d'un biais considerable. Atal, au sen de l'Espaci Schengen, es un limit politic e juridic que permet lo passatge liure de las personas e dels bens. En revènge, entre las doas Corèas, es una zòna fòrça militarizada e susvelhada que son passatge es fòrça limitat.
