Mick Jones, guitarrista britanic fondator del grop american Foreigner en 1976

Foreigner es un grop anglofòn de hard ròck originari de Nòva York (Estats Units). Es format en 1976 per dos musicians britanics professionals, Ian McDonald e Mick Jones, Mick Jones qu'es estat a un moment dat (entre 1965 e 1974) guitarrista de Johnny Hallyday,[1] amb Lou Gramm, un cantaire american (cantaire del grop fins a 2003).

Foreigner a vendut mai de 80 milions d'albums capvath lo monde entièr, dont la mitat (37,5 milions) als Estats Units. Demest lors cançons mai conegudas, se pòt citar los tubes internacionals Urgent o I Want to Know What Love Is dins las annadas 1980. Lo nom del grop es Foreigner (estrangièr) pr'amor que quitamen basats als Estats Units (a Nòva York), tres de sos membres son en realitat Britanics : Mick Jones, Ian McDonald e tanben lo bataire Dennis Elliott.
