Emily Brontë
Emily Brontë foguèt una escrivana anglesa. Nasquèt lo 30 de julhet de 1818 en Thornton, e moric lo 19 de decembre de 1848 en Haworth, ambedós pòble del comtat de Yorkshire, (Anglatèrra). Es sòr de las tanben d'escrivanas Charlotte e Anne Brontë; al bòrd d'elas, publiquèt en 1846 un libre de poèmas.
Un an mai tard (1847), publiquèt lo sieu roman de Wuthering Heights, òbra universala.
