Dolly èra un grop rock francés de tendéncia noise post grunge fondat a Nantas e actiu de 1995 a 2005.

Biografia

Dolly a per cantaira Emmanuelle « Manu » Monet. Nicolas Bonnière es lo compositor e guitarrista. Se son encontrats en 1995, pr'aquò Manu cantava dempuèi 1989 dins Dolly Bird puèi Dolly & co (ambe Michaël Chamberlin a la bassa) sus los emponts dels Païses de Léger e de Bretanha, acompanhada tre la debuta per Thierry Lacroix a la batariá.

En 1997 es publicat lor primièr album realisat par Clive Martin. La musica d'aqueste album que se sarra del grunge american (mès pr'aquò cantat en francés) obten còp-sèc un resson dins lo mitan rock exagonal[1], e lo single Je n'veux pas rester sage ven quitament au mes de junh de 1997 un tube[2]. En seguida, doas autras cançons tiradas de l'album Dolly auràn tanben un resson, Quand l'herbe nous dévore e Partir seule.

Entre 1997 e 2004, Dolly a sortit quatre albums en francés, e un en anglés (Sunday afternoon). Lo grop s'arrestèt en 2005 quand defuntèt dins un accident lo bassita Michaël Chamberlin.
