Denali, ancianament mont McKinley, es la pus nauta montanha d'America del Nòrd. Situat al centre d'Alaska, als Estats Units, culmina a 6 190 mètres d'altitud.
Los indians Koyukon que vivon dins la region sonèron la montanha Denali durant de sègles. En 1896, un prospector d'aur la nomenèt "Mont McKinley" per suportar lo candidat a la presidéncia William McKinley; aquel nom foguèt lo nom oficial reconegut per lo governament dels Estats Units de 1917 fins a 2015. En Agost de 2015, seguent la recomandacion de l'estat d'Alaska, de 1975, lo governament american anoncièt lo cambiament del nom oficial de Mount McKinley a Denali.[1][2]
Son altitud, son clima extrêm e sa situacion geografica artica ne fan un dels somalhs pus dificils d'escalar al mond e la primièra ascencion se faguèt pas abans 1913. Dempuèi 1917, la montanha fa partit de la zona protegida del Pargue nacional de Denali.
