Clipper

Un clipper es un velier rapide destinat au transpòrt de denadas periblas gràcias a una còca relativament fina e un velatge important. Apareguts sus la costat èst deis Estats Units d'America, lei clippers conoguèron son apogèu dins lo corrent dau sègle XIX sus lei rotas de comèrci de l'Empèri Britanic e sus la liason entre Nòva York e San Francisco.
