Capitorlan

Capitorlan es una anciana comuna de Gironda, fusionada damb Castilhon dens Castilhon e Capitorlan lo 1èir de vendemiari de l'an XI.[1]

Toponimia

Tanlèu la fin deu XI° siègle, apareish lo nom de Capèra Arland. La capèra èra dedicada a Nòsta-Dama apui a senta Margarita; sa particularitat es d'estar orientada cap a l'oèst. Sus la carta de Cassini, es escrit Capitourlaus.[2]
