Busan (hangeul:부산; hanja: 釜山;prononciat en corean: /pusʰan/), oficialament Ciutat metropolitana de Busan ), es la segonda pus granda vila de Corèa del Sud aprèp Seol, amb una populacion d'aperaquí 3.6 milions d'abitants. La populacion de l'aira metropolitana, qu'inclutz las vilas vesinas de Gimhae e Yangsan, es d'aperaquí 4.6 milions.
Es situada dins la region de Yeongnam, al extrèm sud-èst de la peninsula de Corèa en riba de la Mar de Japon. La vila es un centre per la cultura, l'educacion e un pòl economic dins la region. Es lo pòrt pus important de Corèa del Sud e lo cinquen al nivèl mondial en tonatge.[1]La vila presenta una extension importanta, amb de quartièrs separats per las montanhas que l'enròdan al nòrd e a l'oèst e per la val del riu Nakdong. Lo quartièr de Jagalchi (자갈치 시장) situat prèp del pòrt es fòrça famós per son mercat dels peisses, sas carrièras estrechas e sas nombrosas botigas.
Divisions administrativas
En 1957, Busan reformèt sa division administrativa amb la creacion de 6 novèls districtes o gu: Busanjin-gu, Dong-gu, Dongnae-gu, Jung-gu, Seo-gu, e Yeongdo-gu. Actualament, la vila compta 15 gu e 1 gun (comtat):
- Buk-gu (북구; 北區)
- Busanjin-gu (부산진구; 釜山鎭區)
- Dong-gu (동구; 東區)
- Dongnae-gu (동래구; 東萊區)
- Gangseo-gu (강서구; 江西區)
- Geumjeong-gu (금정구; 金井區)
- Haeundae-gu (해운대구; 海雲臺區)
- Jung-gu (중구; 中區)
- Nam-gu (남구; 南區)
- Saha-gu (사하구; 沙下區)
- Sasang-gu (사상구; 沙上區)
- Seo-gu (서구; 西區)
- Suyeong-gu (수영구; 水營區)
- Yeongdo-gu (영도구; 影島區)
- Yeonje-gu (연제구; 蓮堤區)
- Gijang-gun (기장군; 機張郡)
