Baltasar Floret

Baltasar Floret (o Bautesar Floret) (en francés Balthazar Floret; Agde, 1791 – 25 de novembre de 1871) foguèt un escrivan e lingüista occitan del país d'Agde. Son aportacion mai importanta a l'occitanisme de son temps es estada La borrida agatenca qu'a mai de sas faulas e sos escriches definiguèt e apliquèt un ensag de normativizacion grafica novèl per son epòca.

Biografia

Baltasar Floret, qu'èra negociant, participèt activament al Felibritge e èra membre de la Societat Arqueologica de Besièrs. Personalitat erudita, revirèt en occitan d'escriches en latin (d'òdas d'Oraci per exemple) e tanben de lengas romanicas coma l'espanhòl (fablas de Félix María Samaniego) o mai lo francés (reviradas de La Fontaine) que apareguèron dins la sola òbra que publiquèt en 1866 La borrida agatenca.

Elena Gràcia, amb lo Cercle occitan dagtenc, nos portèt una novèla edicion del libre en grafia classica l'an 1994.
