Assodé foguèt una vila de las Montanhas de l'Aïr, en lo nòrd del Nigèr. Foguèt fondada al sègle XI e èra la vila mès importanta dels toaregs. Se beneficiava del comerçi transsaharian e declinèt a partir del sègle XVIII.

Foguèt abandonada après que los toaregs la pilharon en 1917. Las fòrças que l'ataquèren èran las d'Ag Mohammed Wau Teguidda Kaocen. Totun, que plan de bastissas son encara plan ben conservadas. Aquesta vila qu'es encara uèi una destinacion toristica plan importanta. Agadez e Assodé foguèron fondadas per los Gobirawa Hausa, qu'èran pas toaregs.
