Agapet II
Agapet II (mòrt lo 8 de novembre de 955, Roma) foguèt lo 129en papa de la Glèisa Catolica dau 10 de mai de 946 au 8 de novembre de 955. Succediguèt a Marin II (942-946) a Joan XII (955-963). Gràcias a sa moderacion, assaièt de mantenir la patz en Itàlia e ordonèt a l'abat Aligern de restaurar l'abadiá dau Mont Cassin qu'èra estada destrucha per lei Sarasins en 883. En 954, acceptèt lo fiu dau rèi Alberic II coma successor sus lo tròne pontificau.
