Adolf Blanch i Cortada (Alacant, 11 de genièr de 1832 – Barcelona, 7 de febrièr de 1887) foguèt un poèta, gramatician, istorian e jornalista catalan[1]. Venguèt Majoral del Felibritge en 1876.[2]

Biografia

Adolf Blanch nasquèt a Alacant (País Valencian) en 1832, de parents originaris de Catalonha. Estudièt la filosofia e lo drech a l'Universitat de Barcelona. S'endralhèt puèi cap a d'estudis literaris e publiquèt dins lo jornal barcelonin El Sol sos primièrs ensages. Publiquèt divèrsas poesias dins qualques revistas. Obtenguèt mantun prèmi als Jòcs Florals de Barcelona e en 1859 capitèt d'aver "la viòla d'aur e d'argent" gràcias a sa poesia Amor de Deu. En 1861 venguèt sòci numerari de la Reial Acadèmia de Bones Lletres de Barcelona. Amb un autre erudit catalan d'aquel temps, Antoni de Bofarull, publiquèt una gramatica catalana en 1867.
