XBase

xBase merupakan istilah umum bagi kesemua bahasa pengaturcaraan yang diterbikan daripada bahasa pengaturcaraan dan format pangkalan data dBASE (Ashton-Tate) yang asal. Bahasa-bahasa ini kadang kala, secara tak formal, dikenali sebagai "klon" dBASE. Walaupun wujud produk Ashton-Tate terdahulu yang bukan komersial (Vulcan yang ditulis oleh Wayne Ratliff), namun kebanyakan klon-klon ini adalah berasaskan keluaran dBASE III+ 1986 Ashton-Tate' — skrip yang ditulis dalam loghat dBASE III+ mungkin sekali dapat dijalankan pada klon-klon tadi.
