Within Temptation ialah sebuah kumpulan muzik "metal simfoni" Belanda yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 1996 oleh vokalis Sharon den Adel dan pemain gitar Robert Westerholt.[1] Mereka selalu dikelaskan oleh kritik sebagai gothic metal walaupun pengaruh gothic berubah pada setiap album.
