Usus buntu atau sekum (dari bahasa Latin caecus bererti buta) merupakan kantung yang menyambungkan ileum dengan kolon menaik pada usus besar. Ia terpisah dari ileum oleh injap ileosekum (ICV) atau injap Bauhin, serta dianggap sebagai permulaan usus besar. Ia juga terpisah dari kolon oleh simpang sekokolon. Umbai usus juga disambungkan pada usus buntu.
