Terminologi anatomi

Tendon (atau sinew) merupakan seturus tisu serat penghubung keras yang biasanya menghubungkan otot dengan tulang[1] serta mampu menahan ketegangan. Tendon serupa dengan ligamen dan fasia kerana ketiga-tiganya diperbuat daripada kolagen, kecuali ligamen menghubungkan sesama tulang, sementara fasia menghubungkan sesama otot. Tendon dan otot bekerjasama menggerakan tulang.
