Tarsiger merujuk pada satu genus yang terdiri dari enam spesies Murai Belukar dalam keluarga Muscicapidae. Ia merupakan spesies burung bersaiz kecil, dengan warna bulu yang terang serta memakan serangga yang berasal daripada Asia dan (satu spesies) timur laut Eropah; empat dari enam spesies ini terhad dalam kawasan pergunungan China-Himalaya.[1] Kadang kala genus ini dimasukkan ke dalam genus Luscinia, tetapi spesies ini didapati membentuk kumpulan monofiletik berbeza.[2]

Nama genus Tarsiger berasal dari perkataan Greek Purba tarsos, "rata di kaki" dan Latin gerere, "untuk membawa".[3]

Sehingga baru-baru ini, ekor biru Himalaya dianggap sebagai satu sub-spesies bagi ekor biru sisi merah.[1] Ia kemudian diasingkan atas alasan ia mempunyai warna-warna bulu yang lebih terang, ekologi dan kelakuannya, merupakan seekor burung migrasi jarak dekat being.[5]
