Tanan

Tanan (bahasa Inggeris: tonnage) ialah satu unit pengiraan saiz kapasiti kargo untuk sesebuah kapal. Dalam penggunaan maritim, "tanan" secara khususnya merujuk kepada pengiraan isipadu atau isipadu kargo kapal. Istilah ini sering digunakan secara tidak tepat dengan merujuk kepada berat kapal dengan muatan atau kapal kosong. Pengiraan tanan kapal digunakan untuk menentukan cukai dan yuran perkapalan seperti cukai pelabuhan.
