Tametaka

Tametaka (為隆) ialah pengukir netsuke terkenal dari Nagoya, wilayah Owari, tengah Jepun. Beliau dianggap sebagai pengasas seni ukiran netsuke di Nagoya.[1]

Dia disebut dalam Sōken Kishō (装劍奇賞), sebuah kompilasi yang diterbitkan di Osaka pada tahun 1781 oleh Inaba Tsūyrū, yang memuatkan lebih 50 master netsuke disenaraikan.[2][3] Tarikh biografinya yang tepat tidak pasti, diperkirakan dia mungkin hidup sekitar 1730 hingga 1790, tetapi juga boleh hidup hingga 1830.[4] Sekitar 500-600 netsuke diketahui wujud hasil ukiran beliau.[4]

Karya-karya beliau terkenal dengan perincian yang rumit dan dinamisme.[3][5]

Beliau juga menandatangani karyanya dengan " Kinjōnan Tametaka " (金城南為隆),[6] Kinjōnan diterjemahkan bermaksud "selatan Istana Nagoya".

Seorang lagi pengukir terkenal yang meneruskan tradisi sekolah Nagoya ialah Ikkan (1817–1893).
