Tacca ialah genus tumbuhan berbunga dalam order Dioscoreales yang ditemukan di kawasan-kawasan tropika rantau Amerika Selatan, Afrika, Australia, Asia Tenggara, dan beberapa pulau Oceania.[1] Dalam teks yang lebih lama, genus ini diletakkan dalam keluarga tersendiri Taccaceae, namun sistem AGP II 2003 menggabungkannya ke dalam keluarga Dioscoreaceae.[2] Sistem APG III dan APG IV terus memasukkan Tacca dalam Dioscoreaceae.[3][4]
