Stoking ialah sehelai pakaian yang dipakai pada kaki dan selalunya menutup buku lali atau sebahagian betis. Sesetengah jenis kasut atau but biasanya dipakai di atas stoking. Pada zaman dahulu, stoking diperbuat daripada kulit atau bulu haiwan pusam. Pada akhir abad ke-16, stokin rajutan mesin pertama kali dihasilkan. Sehingga pada tahun 1800-an, kedua-dua stokin buatan tangan dan rajutan mesin telah dihasilkan, dengan teknik yang terakhir menjadi lebih biasa pada abad ke-19, dan berterusan sehingga zaman moden.[1]
